DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra will once again grace the stage\nat the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center (26032 Newt Rd\, Albemarle\, NC) for a full-length afternoon performance on \nSunday\, November 1\, at 4:00 pm.  \nLobby doors open at 2:30 pm.  Auditorium doors open at 3:30 pm. \n\nTickets will go on sale in OCTOBER at the following locations: \nFirst Bank locations (Albemarle\, Locust\, Mount Pleasant\, Richfield\, Troy) – Cash or Check\nStanly County Agri-Civic Center Box Office – Cash\, Check\, Credit\, Venmo (Reserved seat tickets available too) \nOnline Ticket Purchase –  not available until October.\n(Tickets purchased online after 10/25/2026 will be available at Will Call.) \nTickets will also be available for purchase at the door! \nTicket Prices:  Reserved Seats* – $25.00\nAdults – $15.00 \nGroup (10 or more) – $10.00\nStudent/Child– $5.00 \n*Reserved seat tickets are available only at the Agri-Civic Center ticket office or by sending a request through email to stanlycountyartscouncil1974@gmail.com.  Click here to submit request. \n

SUMMARY:Celebration of the ARTS
DESCRIPTION:A FREE event open to the public to learn more about the arts in Stanly County. \nStudent Art Show:  Come view the county-wide student art show\, showcasing the best from each elementary\, middle\, and high school in Stanly County plus work from the advertising\, graphic design\, and simulation and game animation students from Stanly Community College. A list of participants will be shared shortly. \nArtisans:  a variety of artisans will have booths demonstrating their craft as well as selling their creations.  A list of demonstrating artists will be shared shortly. \nInformation Booths:  Each arts organization will have a booth to promote their upcoming events as well as recruit new members or volunteers.  Arts-based businesses will be there selling their goods or available to answer questions about lessons\, etc.  A full list of exhibitors will be shared shortly. \nLive Performances:  Performances from choirs\, bands\, dance and theatre troupes will entertain audiences throughout the day in the auditorium as well as the lobby.  The schedule will be shared shortly. \nCreation Station:  an opportunity to create your own art to take home with you!  Learn water color techniques\, how to combine colors while creating 3D sculpture with Model Magic clay\,  create a rhythm instrument\, and more. \nLocal Authors:  Meet local authors and peruse & purchase books they have written.   A list of participating authors will be shared shortly. \nRaffles:  a chance to support the arts while taking a chance on winning great prizes \nAwards Ceremony:  at 1:45 pm we will announce the  2027 Arts Person and Fine Arts Teacher of the Year!  Don’t miss it! \n  \n
