Online ticket sales will end Saturday, September 14 @ 5 pm. If you purchased tickets online the week prior to the event, your tickets will be at the will call table.
Tickets will be available at the door. Lobby Doors will open at 5:00 pm. Auditorium doors will open at 6:30 pm.

We are so grateful to Conductor Christopher James Lees who curated the most perfect program for the finale of our 50th Anniversary celebration. The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra graced the stage at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center (26032 Newt Rd, Albemarle, NC) for a full-length evening performance on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 7:00 pm with the “How We Got Here: A Journey through Sound & Time.” This program included selections by classic masters of Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, as well as favorites by Tchaikovsky, John Philip Sousa, Copland, Duke Ellington, and John Williams, as well as a few more surprises.
With our mission being “to encourage and promote broad-based cultural and educational activities in the arts throughout Stanly County” we wanted to make sure that everyone would be able to partake in this opportunity. Our goal was to ensure that ticket prices were not cost-prohibitive. Fortunately, the local business community recognized the importance of this concert previously and again this year. Their generosity ensured that financially we could afford to bring this concert to the local community. Special thanks to all of our sponsors:

Pfeiffer University and Stanly Community College joined forces to continue the Free Student Ticket. This sponsorship allows any student in Stanly County from Kindergarten through seniors in high school to receive a free ticket to the performance with a paying adult. These tickets were made available at the schools the first week of September. As part of the sponsorship, Pfeiffer University and Stanly Community College students also received free admission just by showing their student ID at the door.
Everyone should enjoy the majesty of hearing a Symphonic Orchestra in person. We are grateful for the program that resident conductor Christopher James Lees put together for us.
