The Rowan Big Band All Stars is an 18-piece community big band based in Landis, North Carolina, performing in the classic style of legends like Glenn Miller, Count Basie, and Duke Ellington. Founded in 2006, the band specializes in swing and Great American Songbook favorites. Award-Winning Jazz Duo: Sounds of A&R Awarded and named “Best Jazz Group” at the 2019 New York City Reader’s Jazz Awards, the husband and wife duo known as Sounds of A&R, or S.O.A.R.
