The Singing Americans of Stanly County have been performing Patriotic Concerts for 48 seasons. This year’s concert will feature patriotic favorites including “America, the Beautiful”; “My Country ’tis of Thee”; “I Love This Land” and “God Bless the USA”. We add a few gospels songs including “There Will Be Peace in the Valley”. All concerts are free.

After a two-year hiatus, First Bank and Corning with the Stanly County Arts Council are excited to welcome back the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra to Stanly County. With this year’s concert being held just prior to Veteran’s Day, it presented itself as a perfect opportunity to perform a patriotic concert called “Spirit of America.” The program includes familiar arrangements from Aaron Copland, Percy Grainger, Leroy Anderson, John Williams, and John Philip Sousa. With our mission being “to encourage and promote broad-based cultural and educational activities in the arts throughout Stanly County”...
