The Stanly County Concert Band with the Pfeiffer University Wind Ensemble will present a Christmas concert on Thursday, December 8, 7:00pm, in the Central United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Admission is a food item for Stanly Community Christian Ministries.
The Stanly County Concert Band continues celebrating its Tenth Anniversary Year with a spring concert of exciting new music and great favorites from past performances. Free band t-shirts will be given to all attendees and door prizes given away during the concert. Admission is free!
The Stanly County Concert Band Fall Concert is inspired by the elements of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. It is amazing to hear how composers represent these elements using a variety of timbre, rhythm and meter.
The Stanly County Concert Band will present a Christmas concert that includes some traditional and new music. There is even a Christmas song sing-a-long! It is sure to help everyone get in the spirit of the season! Free admission, but requesting attendees to bring food items for the pantry at Stanly County Christian Ministries.
