We are excited to announce that in celebration of our 50th Anniversary, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra will grace the stage at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center (26032 Newt Rd, Albemarle, NC) for a full length evening performance on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 7:00 pm with the “How We Got Here: A Journey through Sound & Time.” This program will include selections by classic masters of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, as well as favorites by Tchaikovsky, John Philip Sousa, Copland, Duke Ellington, and John Williams, as well as a few more surprises. The Stanly County Arts Council and First Bank welcome the Charlotte Symphony back to Albemarle with “Classics Go to the Movies” on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
