Get Ready to Swing! Stanly County Historical Society Presents The Salisbury Swing Band
Dust off your dancing shoes and prepare for an evening of toe-tapping tunes! The Stanly County Historical Society is thrilled to announce Swinging in the Streets, a special event featuring the vibrant sounds of The Salisbury Swing Band. Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 17th, as the music fills the air at the charming Historic 1852 Isaiah Snuggs House in Downtown Albemarle. Swing dance lessons begin at 6:30 pm and the band takes the stage at 7:00 pm.

The Singing Americans of Stanly County have been sharing patriotic concerts in Stanly County for nearly 50 years. This year’s program is titled Freedom! and includes many familiar patriotic songs. This concert will be our kick off of America’s 250th Anniversary with a focus on those who have given their lives to create and preserve the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
